Title: | Feasibility of Conducting Followup Surveys in the National Household Education Survey |
Description: | This report examines the feasibility of conducting a longitudinal survey when the base year data are from a random-digit-dial telephone survey. The report describes an experiment that involves drawing a random subsample of children who were the subjects of completed NHES:91 Early Childhood Education interviews, asking the parents of respondents a series of additional questions that would assist in locating them at a later date, attempting to locate the same respondent about one year later, and conducting a brief followup interview with the respondent to determine how willing they would be to complete another interview. |
