    Mr. Linder, from the Committee on Rules, submitted the following

                              R E P O R T

                       [To accompany H. Res. 662]

    The Committee on Rules, having had under consideration 
House Resolution 662, by a nonrecord vote, report the same to 
the House with the recommendation that the resolution be 
adopted.

                summary of provisions of the resolution

    The resolution provides for consideration in the House of 
House Joint Resolutions 121, 122, 123, and 124, each making 
further continuing appropriations for fiscal year 2001, under 
separate closed rules. The rule waives all points of order 
against consideration of each joint resolution. The rule also 
provides one hour of debate on each joint resolution equally 
divided and controlled by the chairman and ranking minority 
member of the Committee on Appropriations. Finally, the rule 
provides one motion to recommit each joint resolution.
