About this Newsletter

Network libraries send information and pictures that celebrate the contributions of local volunteers to the national program. From time to time, NLS publishes this information in a nationally distributed newsletter, Update. Most issues include an NLS-supplied article about transcribing print material into braille in the form of a dialogue between an instructor and student. NLS sometimes adds other stories of national interest.

Beginning with issues for 2003, the files have been converted to web pages. In prior years, the files are plain text.

There were no issues published in 2007 or 2012.
